Where is NeesSweets located? Can I my pick up my order at your facility?

NeesSweets is located in Pennington, NJ and bakes out of a commercial kitchen in Hamilton, NJ. At this time, our customers are not able to pick up their orders at our baking facility, but we do offer delivery services and expedited shipping.

Which areas does NeesSweets deliver to?

NeesSweets delivers to the Mercer County, NJ area and surrounding counties.  Delivery fees start at $30, and the minimum order value to deliver is $40. Please allow a three-hour time window for delivery. We request that all delivery orders be placed two days prior to your expected delivery date. For large orders, additional advance notice is required. Please contact us to find out more about large order processing, corporate events and special event catering.

Is NeesSweets a nut-free bakery?

No. NeesSweets is NOT a nut-free bakery. Some of our menu items contain peanuts or other nut products. We recommend that customers with nut allergies err on the side of caution and refrain from consuming our baked treats.

Does NeesSweets offer a gluten-free menu? Do you plan on adding new items to your gluten-free menu?

Yes. Please select any of our delicious gluten-free options from our gluten-free menu. Many of our customers and potential customers have asked us to expand our gluten-free menu and we are happy to accommodate you. As we test and test and re-test new recipes we will gladly add only those baked goods which have passed our satisfaction tests to our NeesSweets baked treats menu.

Where can I find the nutritional information for your organic baked treats?

NeesSweets uses a variety of gourmet, imported, as well as locally sourced ingredients, including organic milk, organic butter, organic eggs, organic sugars, organic flours (all-purpose, wheat, rice) and organic spices. There are NO GMO’s in our products, NO hydrogenated oils, NO pesticides or other dangerous chemicals and there are NO Trans-Fats in our products. Additionally, NeesSweets DOES NOT USE ANY artificial colors or dyes, NO artificial flavors, NO artificial sweeteners, and NO preservatives. Currently, we do not have any other nutritional information available for review.
Can NeesSweets accommodate large and/or corporate orders?

Absolutely! We have a very simple process that we follow to accommodate your large and corporate order. Can NeesSweets cater my special event (birthdays, holidays, baby shower and other event)?

NeesSweets specializes in catering special occasions with the most delicious of treats including birthdays, holidays and special events to name a few. Does NeesSweets offer special icing colors?

NeesSweets DOES NOT USE ANY artificial colors or dyes, NO artificial flavors, NO artificial sweeteners, NO preservatives, or hydrogenated oils and we therefore do not offer a variety of icing color options at this time. We are however in the process of exploring organic coloring options and organic fondant recipes. Should I refrigerate my cake or cupcakes until I am ready to consume? How should they be stored?

In order to guarantee the quality of your cakes, our cakes are shipped frozen.  We do not yet ship our cupcakes. When your NeesSweets cake arrives, take it out of the shipping packaging and place into your freezer. When you are ready to eat your cake, completely unwrap and thaw before serving. You may store your organic cake for up to 2 months in the freezer.

Because NeesSweets baked goods are made without preservatives we recommend that they be enjoyed on the day received or after having thawed. We recommend that you *DO NOT* store cakes and cupcakes in the refrigerator, this may dry them out. If you plan on storing cakes or cupcakes, tightly wrap the box in plastic wrap and leave at room temperature. Please take care not to leave any baked treat with icing in or near high temperature conditions. Because we specialize in organic baked treats, made from scratch without additives or preservatives, there are no ingredients to prevent your cake or cupcake order from drying out.

What is the shelf life of your baked treats (cookies, brownies, etc.)? How should they be stored?

Because NeesSweets baked goods are made without preservatives we recommend that they be enjoyed on the day received. Our baked treats are absolutely delicious right out of the refrigerator but if you prefer them at room temperature, we recommend setting on the counter (away from any heated surface) for approximately one hour before consuming. All of our baked goods (excluding cakes and cupcakes) may be stored in the refrigerator deliciously for up to two weeks. Shelf life for most of our baked goods, stored on the counter is approximately 2-3 days. Please take care not to leave any baked treat with icing in or near high temperature conditions. If you plan on storing cakes or cupcakes, tightly wrap the box in plastic wrap and leave room temperature.

How far in advance should I place my order?

We endeavor to process and ship orders within 2 days of the having received payment confirmation of your order, but please be advised that delays may occur due to weather, availability or circumstances that are outside of our control.

Does NeesSweets offer gift certificates?

Yes! NeesSweets gift certificates make a SWEET GIFT! Please contact us at +1 609. 510. 8567 or via email at office@neessweets.com and a customer service representative will provide you with additional details.

Where does NeesSweets ship?

NeesSweets ships to all 50 states to both residences and commercial places of business. We do not however ship to P.O. Boxes.  

Does NeesSweets offer same day shipping?

Because all of our baked treats are baked to order and made fresh from scratch, we are unable to ship your order on the same day in which it was placed. We do however offer rush order processing for an additional fee. Please contact us at +1 609. 510. 8567 for additional details.

What if I do not plan to be home on the date my package is shipped?

At this time, NeesSweets does require a signature for your delivery. In the event that you will not be available to receive the shipment, or if you are delivering a surprise gift, we can however waive this with your written approval. Simply send us an email to confirm your request to waive this option.

What is your refund policy?

Unfortunately, because our baked treats are perishable food items and are baked in small batches, once your payment has been confirmed and your order is being baked we cannot accept returns. If however you contact us on the day that the order is placed *and* before 2:00PM EST of that day we may be able to process a refund of your order. If your order can be refunded, please allow 2-3 days for NeesSweets to process your refund. Depending on your financial institution, you may not see the refund in your account for 5-7 business days. All refunds will be processed less a $20.00 cancellation fee.
